Put aside time to understand your finances. Same day, same time once a week to get a picture of spending habits. Download a bank statement and highlight the payments you are unsure of, pinpoint that spending and address it so that you can get to a place where you know where every dollar needs to be spent. Too many of us spend more than we earn.
Cash flow
A cash flow provides a clear picture of our income and expenses and helps to identify potential problems.
Savings
When saving you have to continually justify the WHY. If you don't remind yourself of the why, you'll dip into it for one reason or another.
If you want to make a change, you've got to do something different.
